Understand your customer's options for flights booked with Singapore Airlines and SilkAir
My customer’s flight hasn’t been cancelled
Bookings made on or before 15th March, departing on or before 30th June
We can request a full refund of the amount the customer originally paid, or we can request a Singapore Airlines voucher for the amount originally paid, plus a bonus depending on the flights originally booked.
If the customer requests a voucher, it will be valid for travel up to 31st December 2021, and can be used across up to two bookings. The customer
Bookings made on or before 15th March, departing on or before 30th June
We can make unlimited changes to the booking before the 30th June, and after 30th June, we can make a one-time free change to the ticket, with all change fees waived.
Bookings made on or before 4th of March, departing after the 30th June
The customer may be able to make changes to or cancel their flights, but subject to the normal fare conditions. This means that they may have to pay a change fee, or may not be able to change at all.
Bookings made between 5th March and 30th June, departing after 30th June
We can make unlimited changes to the booking before the 30th June, and after 30th June, we can make a one-time free change to the ticket, with all change fees waived.
My customer’s flight has been cancelled
If the passenger’s flight was due to depart between the 24th January and 30th June and it was booked before 15th March, the amount the customer originally paid will have been converted into a voucher, following the rules above.
If the passenger would like a cash refund, we can request this for them.
