Understand your customers' options for flights booked with WestJet
Your customer has two options - it doesn’t matter if their flights are running, or if they have been cancelled:
Request a voucher
If your passenger booked on or after 2nd March 2021, we can request a voucher for the original amount they paid.
The voucher must be used to book flights departing within 13 months of the departure date of the first flight in the customer’s original booking. WestJet are planning to extend this to 24 months.
When the passenger is ready to rebook, you’ll have to get in touch with us to start the process.
Rebook for alternative flights
If your passenger booked on or before 2nd March 2020 to travel on or before January 31st 2021, they can rebook without any change fee as long as long as this is processed at least 2 hours before their original departure time. Any difference in the fare and taxes will apply.
If your passenger booked on or after 3rd March 2020, they can rebook without any change fee, as long as this is processed at least 24 hours before their original departure time. Any difference in the fare and taxes will apply.
